Works great, easy install!

Easy installation, works GREAT! The original broke so we never knew how much more petrol it actually had and you don't want to risk cold nights in the motorhome!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some little things

Fixed issue with low pressure sensor

In my RV, my propane/LPG tank is horizontal and the internal sensor no longer works. It takes a bit of work to install this due to the location and cables, but after making the LP sensor it works and I'm happy!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great product at a great price.

I've always been frustrated because the status bar on my RV didn't accurately show the amount of propane. I decided that the sender is bad. I ordered this device. It took me about 25 minutes to install and suddenly the system was working perfectly. I love the unit.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Upgrade availability

Switch the old analog sensor to digital.

Turned off the analog propane tank gauge to allow my Seelevel tank monitoring system to read the propane level. A simple 2 minute swap and a wired connection to the monitor and you're done. It's nice to be able to check the propane level without going outside and checking the old gas gauge.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Motorcycle and power sport parts are hard to come by

This is a horizontal ASME gas cylinder gauge commonly used in Class C RVs. This model has connections for reading a digital gauge inside the car. It attaches to the tank itself with small plastic clips on 4 sides of the transmitter. These clamps age and break, requiring the installation of a new sensor. The last one lasted almost 10 years. They're hard to find at local off-road parts stores. It's easy to remove the old one and install the new one.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
