🪴 Vivere Bonsai Cacoon: Stylish and Comfortable Mango Hammock Chair Review

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTI bought this Cocoon in orange in October 2016 for approx $250. By Thanksgiving (late Nov 2016) the outer edge of the material where it contacts the inner metal ring was wearing away. I followed the instructions perfectly by using it and putting away (inside my shed) and never leaving it out. I contacted the company to get a repair or replacement and they insisted that it was "User Fault."The company is disreputable and will refuse any kind of warranty.

I purchased this item at the beginning of summer. The first swing I received was damaged, no worries, I reached out to the seller and they replaced it. Recently I found a large rip at one of the tether points making the cacoon useless. I reached out to the seller and have heard nothing. In my opinion, a product that costs $300+ should not last only two months. Very frustrated. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER AND PRODCUT.

Product can support heavy weight but sags in the middle to the point of almost touching the ground. Instead of staying level, it tips toward the front opening, so kids need to climb to the back to keep the cocoon level. Several people (including myself) got dizzy lying in there because the opening only gives a small viewing area to the outside. We did not use it after the first few times.

I really wanted to love this thing and I still love the concept of it. It’s hard to assemble and disassemble… So if you plan on hanging this and leaving it up somewhere it’s perfect. I wanted to put it in my backyard, but here in Georgia we get a little too much rain for a giant swing to remain clean. It was too big for me to carry in and out of the house repeatedly… And it didn’t make sense to disassemble it in between uses.I would definitely car camp or beach camp in this thing. It would make

Excellent quality and the most cozy and relaxing seat in the house. I bought this for my 5 year old (as a gift for his new room when we moved houses). I bought a papasan cushion from Pier 1 and it fits inside perfectly and takes the coziness to the next level. I also bought a hammock chair spring mounting kit, and screwed it directly into a ceiling hoist. Super stable. My son lurrrrrves it, and he’s actually napping in it right now while I type this (it’s quiet and peaceful inside the chair)…

Gets a lot of compliments! You need a big cushion which they should sell Specufic to the dimensions. My other recommendation would be to make this hammock with a zipper for the entrance hole (cleaning out leaves daily) also the pull in rope allows rain water to drip inside and then accumulate. Small tweaks and thus hammock would be unstoppable

We love this for our kiddo to have a sturdy space their own.What I'm not crazy about is the interior surface. It seems off, it says some, but is very awkward to sit or lay in.We have pillows in to help. But it's a bit weird and awkward for lounging

I have been trying to put this together (with help) for over an hour. It is impossible to put the ring together without some of it falling apart. I’m so frustrated right now I could scream $235 for something that is impossible to use!

I have had this single Cacoon for almost 2 years, it is amazing and fits 3 kids and the dog. Highly recommended. The mango color may clash with certain colors of surrounding plants or flowers.

Little tough to assemble but looks good and roomy. Many kids were very dizzy after being in it for a minute That's my review.

couldn't be more happy with this . Setup is easy. quality is amazing and its really comfortable. The only thing to consider with this item is if you should by the single or double. Single is big enough for your average size adult to sit in and maybe take a nap. If you considering having two people in this at once or if you really want to be able to stretch out then you may want to get the double.

The support poles along the edge are not strong and bent as soon as you get in into the tent. We bought three of them and they all bent and then it was really difficult to take apart.

A little tricky and tight fitting to get set up. Worth the time though.Do ensure you’re hanging spot is good, as elk a supportMine wasn’t, first time round. And I fell, clear down. Knocking the wind right out of me. Which was totally my fault.It’s a little intimidating to get into. You’ll be happy, when you do. Relax and hours will pass by. My kids love this swing. They are little kids and it is a great place to take a nap. It is comfortable. But after 2 years this it what it looks like—the side with the support has ripped. We only have it up in the summer and store in the winter. For the $$$, I expected to get 5-10 years of utilization.

This looks comfortable in pictures, but it really suitable for an adult. The 6’ round dimensions would not fit 2 adults. It tilts so much it feels like you are constantly slipping down. It also needs a pad.
