This mannequin is pretty decent! I've used it a few times to practice braids and the hair doesn't fall out too much. I think it was worth it and generally satisfied.

Oh my god I bought 2 of these for my nieces for Christmas. You loved her. They always ask me to "comb my hair" but 5 and 8 year olds tend to tie a lot of knots for me. That was excellent. They like to comb and braid their hair, it is attached to the table so it can be a bit rough. Hair falls out, but there are so many of them that it's hard to even tell. I had fun with them too! Just received today. I bought this for my 10 year old to practice brushing his hair, braiding and fishtails. I like the Barbie update. It comes the same as in the photo. Don't forget. Silky straight, naturally curly or similar. But then again, I love it and I know my daughter will love it too. Excellent price. It also works if you want to practice freestyle braiding.

Bought this item for my daughter. She really loves it and the reason I bought it for her is because I permed her hair years ago. She wants to be natural but I bought her flat iron so she can iron her hair for the last month and she wants to practice on manic hair before doing hers. She always complains that her hair falls out too quickly and gets tangled easily! It's good hair, but I also want us to have HUMAN hair. Hair is EVERYWHERE! Even if you at least cleaned everything up.

Bought this attachment for my daughter to practice braiding and individual braids. Pros: Decent amount of hair. Nice and long. Sturdy mannequin clip/stand that can also be adjusted like a real human head once attached. Disadvantages: The mannequin's head is small, like a child. The head is not adult size. Not suitable for farewell exercises. Even with a rat tail comb. Sheds a little from tips to roots even with very careful combing. The texture is reminiscent of straight, almost silky yaks…

Purchase to try new hairstyles for me and my daughter. I'm not a barber, but I'm a person who needs more exercise with cornbread. Thought I could but something like my yaki hair would come close to 3c 4a 4b. This training head I bought wasn't as thick as you would expect. Very easy to deal with and probably won't help me much. The hair is easy to manage and I can manage the first try without difficulty. If you are looking for yaks, this is not it. I'll keep it anyway.
