Warning: Significantly reduced airflow

I'm surprised I didn't see any comments on this, but this is a thick filter. It may sound great, but its thickness and density has drastically reduced airflow on my 2018 Grand Cherokees when I'm using the air conditioning or heater, so much so that I'll probably remove it. The airflow is so restricted that I can tell the A/C motor is stressed by the noise once installed.

Clean air awaits in the cabin Air filter

I installed this cabin filter on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it fits perfectly. Remember that these filters have a direction in which they should be installed and the easiest way to do this is to look at the filter you are removing and install it the same way. You will be surprised when the old filter comes out how dirty it is and you definitely need a clean one for better air quality. This filter was a little heavier than the OEM and seems to have more material in it, which is good.

Fits the jeep perfectly!

Note: This review is of a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Filter. I can't say anything about other models. After I changed my oil, the Jeep dealership charged "only" $49 for an air change in the cabin (it really needed to be changed). I politely said no thanks, popped in here while waiting for them to get my car ready and POOF he showed up at my door the next day and just as it should. I haven't noticed if carbon has an impact on odor removal. , but the quality is the same as Mopar OEM brand. Go ahead

Filters work well yet still provide good airflow

Works well seems to filter well and stops bad smells outside very well. No more smell of stinky diesel trucks and LOL dairy. Airflow is way better than BOSH HEPA and I've had to listen to other reviewers say it's too tight. Now the two-week-old BOSH is going into the garbage can. Slightly louder than standard but better filtering. Update I saved the Bosch and now that we're deep in wildfire smoke I've taken it out of the box and will be using it until it clears up here, maybe December, but atโ€ฆ

Do it yourself if you're even a little mechanical and save big.

Installed in 5 minutes by following the instructions and watching YouTube videos. I chose the carbon upgrade as I saved $70 doing it myself. I don't notice much difference as the factory original was very clean even after 50,000 miles. who is new The dealer offered to replace the engine and cabin air filters for $65 and $85 respectively, which I did. The only thing I have retail bought is a better quality motor filter than the EOM filter and a better quality Revain carbon filter. Both are easyโ€ฆ
