Ideal for drawing and sketching.

My sister told me about these pens - she uses them to sketch and then she draws. The results are amazing and the pens are a joy to use.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • disappears

Almost identical to Kingart pencils, but three times as expensive

These Marabu colored pencils are soft, creamy and highly pigmented. They mix well with water and I like to use them in mixed media. The problem is that they are almost identical to my Kingart Mixed Media Gelsticks. Same body, same creamy consistency, same mixability, same amount of product, same pigmentation. But these marabou sticks are around $2.75-$3.00 each, while Kingart sticks are around $0.80 each. Marabu Sticks are not worth the price difference at all. Also - and that's maybe just me -

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • A few little things

Water soluble oil pastels that blend well

Great base colors - match all the colors on the color wheel - water soluble to beautiful mixing and coloring - after trying them I ordered 26 colors available from this brand.

Pros
  • Marabu Art Colored Pencils are ideal for drawing, sketching and journaling on paper, canvas, wood and other porous surfaces
Cons
  • I will add later

That's great! for painting

Paint with it or use it as a watercolor and these three basic colors let you mix almost anything. I like to draw a circle on a textured cutting board and then paint in watercolor with a water brush. High quality lightfast colored pencils.!

Pros
  • Sturdy, fully-loaded slide-out holder with ergonomic handle and clear protective cap
Cons
  • Legacy

Great for kids, best for colouring, coloring and art supplies

I bought these gel pens for a toddler after purchasing them. Dad threw away the gel pens because they were too good for things like carpets. I saw a post that said pastel shades are *best* for young children. They paint more easily, so kids don't learn to erase the page while painting, and they give kids more control over their artistic expression. I'm absolutely sure that's true. Art pens have a plastic case that makes them easy to hold. She can mix colors by painting over other colorsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The basic set contains 5 bright smooth buttery colours: Cherry Red, Gentian Blue, Sunshine Yellow, White and Black
Cons
  • No Instructions

Great for kids

Bought these after buying baby gel crayons. Dad threw away the gel pens because they were too good for things like carpets. I saw a post that said pastel shades are *best* for young children. They color more easily, so children don't learn to erase the page while coloring, and they allow children more control over their artistic expression. I'm absolutely sure that's true. Pros
  • Sturdy fully filled retractable holder with ergonomic grip and clear protective cap
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
