So if you want to know if it's salt or pepper you'll have to look at the bottom of the cans to tell, as there's no S or P -Marking there I found out beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered them.

They are almost perfect except they don't have the letters S or P for salt and pepper. You have to look at the bottom of the glasses to see what it is. I had to mark the tip with a small S&P.

I think these shakers are good enough. I haven't used them much yet, but the color doesn't seem to last long. I bought them for cooking so they won't be used often, which means it's not a big deal to me. My main gripe is that there is no labeling to indicate what is salt and what is pepper. You can't even tell by the holes on the top as they are identical. I don't think labeling the shakers or making a different number of holes in the lids would be a big problem.
