Exactly as described

Worn for over a month. I'll open and close every day. Works fine, no problem. (I live alone so I'm very careful so I have locks on all bedroom doors)

Locking personal items

He's doing a good job. I had to keep one person out of my personal photos and things that aren't their business, especially since they don't live here. Dad isn't thrilled, but he hasn't gotten me to undress them yet. They are perfect for door handles.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Security

quality lock! Easy to use! Bought for first aid kit

Bought recently to lock first aid kit in bathroom because we have teenagers and their teenage friends around the house. It seems very strong, easy to adjust and very easy to lock. I was impressed! It was more expensive than I expected to pay for the $14.57 padlock, but it appears to be a quality product.

Pros
  • Easy installation

  • Some cons

Locks cupboards well

I bought 4 of these to lock my school cupboards in the classroom. The adjustable shackle length is perfect for slipping through my closet handles. All locks have different keys, so I engraved numbers on the lock and key to make it easier to see what goes where. On 2 out of 4 it was very difficult to insert the key for no real reason. Although it works great!

Pros
  • Good marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Bad result

Ours doesn't work, but it works. Lol

I thought I was the right size when I saw other reviewers were using it for the same purpose we were, which was to keep our little chewing kids out of the pantry! Well it was about an inch wider than the handles we have so you could actually put a lock on the handles without unlocking it, but it still LOOKS like it's locked anyway, it's a Win -Win situation! So it definitely serves its purpose!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some little things

Very difficult to open

The lock looks good and is designed for heavy loads. But as I said, the lock is very sticky. For some reason (manufacturing error?) it is very difficult to insert the key, turn the key, and keep the key turned while removing the lock. When inserting a key, the locking bars also interfere with your fingers. I can't say how secure the lock is. I would not recommend this lock as it is very painful to pick.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Some problems

Ideal for protecting double door handles!

I used this to lock two doors in a closet room where we protect our alcohol from small gusts. It's hard to find strong, parent-safe locks for dual handles, and this does the job perfectly. Just make sure you stick a protective pad on the back of the lock as the metal will scratch the finish of the cabinet. The lock is heavy and the fixation after installation seems reliable. Don't give in to your chosen position. The only thing that confuses me is that sometimes the key gets stuck and you have…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Light. Not in a good way.

The lock is very light. The body is encased in a plastic casing and it's unclear how durable it will be. The temple is definitely aluminum, I don't know why I was hoping for the body to be aluminum and the bracket steel, but it is. (Edit: The packaging says the shackle is steel. It seems very light. But I'm not here to say the packaging is wrong.) ... but when the lock seems fragile, it wakes not much trust. As mentioned before, getting the key in the lock is a bit difficult when the shackle is

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Perfect for locking my kayak

I've been looking for a way to lock my kayak at a public counter for YEARS. I don't drive a car, so I was keen to leave my kayak at the public presentation for the whole season. I've seen lockable seat kayaks with scupper holes, but my seat yak didn't have holes large enough. I chose this lock for its length and the fact that the shackle can fully detach. It turns out to fit PERFECTLY through the handle hole on my Pelikan kayak. I kept it there in a very busy public park area for about a week…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
