Suitable for repairing: fabric adhesives

This product is very suitable for repairs. It's NOT leather, it just looks like leather. With a limited number of colors, you may not get an exact match, so it never looks invisible. So if you want your purse or couch to look brand new, this won't be the case. But it will close the rift and prevent the condition from deteriorating. It comes on a roll and is as sticky as a new roll of duct tape (so sticky you'll have to clean your scissors after you cut it). I would suggest placing it correctly…

Pros
  • Quickly close tears, holes, tears, burns, scratches, stains and other imperfections on damaged leather, faux leather and vinyl.
Cons
  • Weak set

Worth every penny.

I'm not sure why anyone would give this product less than 5 stars. If you buy a ribbon and expect it to be perfect, you're crazy. I have an aging leather sofa that splits between the seats. At first I just wanted to put it on tape to buy time so they don't get much worse. Received this cassette in the mail today and taped it. I couldn't be happier with the cover. It keeps the split seats closed and completely concealed. If you look at him it will be pretty obvious but he doesn't stand out in…

Good product for flat surfaces - very durable!

Very cool. I recently moved in with a new roommate who had a faux leather sofa that was lifting at the seams revealing the white material underneath. This product was a really great solution to making imperfections less obvious. The ONLY caveat I have is that unfortunately the material of the sofa feels even less durable than before and I put tape around the edges of the wear it actually pulled up and exposed more of the leather material. white below. This is actually more of a sofa bug than…

Not that impressive

This tape really let me down. Maybe I was expecting too much and it would be great for another job, but I put it on a faux leather chair that had a few frays and a tear. Despite my best efforts, it shriveled and writhed in my arms, but I suppose that's not surprising since the surface was curved. What amazed me was that it started to come off in less than 24 hours. Even the completely flat and smooth areas I applied fell off after a few days, taking some of the stool with it. For proper…
