🔌 Enhanced Match 'N Patch Tape for Realistic Black Leather Repair Review

Just cheap plastic strap, very slightly textured but not leathery at all so looks like you taped the leather in place. stupid waste of money

May be suitable for certain items. Did NOT work on my leather chair. It just made everything very sticky. Not entirely surprising considering how often the chair will be used, but if you want it to be used for something very frequently then this might not be the best option.

Doesn't look like leather. Also when I put it on and found it looked too plasticky trying to gently remove it made the hole worse. It doesn't even fuse to itself. Leaves white lines/seams between parts. It is better to use black tape. In addition, it flakes off after just a few days and peels off the skin around it.

Works very well, feels and looks natural. I used it in my car for the center console as I had a hole in my elbow. The skin cracked and dried out, and the hole grew larger and more uncomfortable. I put the strip on top and used a piece of paper to smooth it out in a few minutes. Then leave it overnight. After a few months it's holding up well and nice to put your elbow on.

I used this leather repair tape on a couple of small tears in the surface of a sofa cushion. After a few days of sitting, the tape peeled off the edges of the gap. I tried re-gluing the tape, the same thing happened again. Note that removing the tape may damage the leather surface - I would not recommend this product. It has now been repaired with a "self-adhesive patch" with no problems.

I would call it a mediocre solution. It definitely doesn't match and the edges are terrible. I don't like how you can see the white borders. However, this is a good quick fix. I needed to fix the sofa in my upstairs lounge, so it's not an everyday sofa. The tape does a great job of remote patching. That's basically what I was looking for, so it wasn't a problem for the company. However, once you get close, you can defiantly see it.

The product is exactly what the name suggests: realistic black leather strap. It feels very comfortable, is thick and seems to be holding up well. Used on a beauty salon chair that had a small tear. Looks great in the app and is easy to use. The reason I gave it one star is because even though it says 'black', it's not as black as the chair I used it on. I will edit my review once the product has gone through normal wear and tear.
