I like them, they seem solid, but I reinforced them anyway.

I like them, they seem strong but I reinforced them with tape anyway. There were no instructions for the safest way to assemble the box and I feel like the way I was able to do it wasn't what it was supposed to be. However, it works well and holds many double records. I will also try the BCW boxes, same offering for just a few bucks more.

Ideal for carrying records

Here I write a review about the box? Why? Because it's so good, you should hear it from the real person who bought and used it. I used a set of 5 to transport my collection of over 300 records around town. I didn't feel comfortable stacking boxes on top of each other after filling them with my notes, but I'm sure they would work just fine. Just wanted to be super safe when moving. These are incredibly strong boxes, feel good in the hand and are quick to set up and take down. Buy with…

Large lids and no folding handles.

Poor construction of a simple box. The lids were 3/4 inch longer in one dimension. The friction-free fit upper is, as you would expect, too loose. They also don't have continuous handles like most storage boxes. The holes for the finger holes are completely cut out. Usually the outside of the box has partially perforated grip tabs that fold and wrap around the inner grip hole, creating a more comfortable and firm grip. Not with these. Expensive, cheaply made Not everyone needs a sturdy box that

Sturdy boxes - easily holds 50 pounds

Very strong boxes. At first I was afraid to fold them but I ended up doing it out of necessity and they held up perfectly. I put about 50 pounds of slabs in each box and none of them showed any signs of cracking, crushing or breaking. As another reviewer pointed out, the 2 inner flaps don't always stay upright on their own when folded. This is only annoying when loading vinyl, as the valve can get in the way if you're trying to load a large batch at once. Obviously this isn't a problem if you…

mediocre boxes but somehow very few alternatives in this size

lids are a bit big, side vents don't have break out flaps that fold back and roll inwards for a more comfortable and firm hold, not to mention of which it can be lowered from the inside of the box to seal everything and protect against insects. There is no point in completely cutting out the side holes. All you have to do is leave the top of the hole uncut and you'll have a better box. The box is fairly thin, thinner than the typical small moving boxes you get from Home Depot, for example…
