Type of review

The tower garden arrived simply in an ebay box with the items stacked inside. No brand box or anything. I was a bit surprised to receive these without any original packaging!Other than that, everything was fine the various parts of it. It is extremely easy to assemble and comes with a bottom drip pan, which is great for keeping a bit of moisture, but the bottom part does not give it the expected sturdiness. Maybe it needed some 'feet'.I love the 'flow through' design, which makes watering the…

Pros
  • Encourages sustainable living, as you can grow your own food and reduce your carbon footprint
Cons
  • The strawberries can become too overcrowded, leading to a lower yield

good for er, strawberries

This is an easy way to grow strawberries. Very fun to have a different variety on each level. The clue is in the title though--strawberries. We tried growing mint in the top but it yearned to be free and had to be transplanted. We tried bell pepper and Japanese eggplant in the bottom, but it just isn't enough soil for them to grow and fruit in.I find it's not easy to keep it all hydrated, so next season I will have to come up with a dripper for each cell on each level and remove that hassle. I…

Cons
  • It can be difficult to plant seeds or propagate plants due to the narrow pot openings

Future impatiens planter

In all honesty, it is under 30 degrees here so won't be using this planter for another couple of months, but I was impressed by its speedy arrival, the quality is what was pictured and what I expected. I am looking forward to filling it with impatiens.

Pros
  • Made of high-quality, durable plastic that can withstand harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • It's unsuitable for outdoor use due to weather elements

Strawberry planter on my review.

Everything is fine with this product except it’s too shallow of troughs for what I expected. Not for overwintering outside.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble, so you won't have to spend hours trying to figure it out
Cons
  • The product is not compatible with all fertilizers or soil types

Does not water everywhere from the top

A lot of the reviews I read mentioned how easy it was to water from just the top. That is far from true for mine! I have to water the top 2 tiers (and a lot of water) to get all the areas watered. Easier to just water each separate plant.

Pros
  • Gives you peace of mind knowing that your strawberries are growing in a safe environment
Cons
  • It can be too expensive for just experimental gardening

Works great!: my feedback

The only thing I dislike is that the base doesn’t stay snapped on to the bottom planter. Which is really a nice to have so I didn’t deduct for that. I love that you can leave it stacked or split it up using any extra trays you might have so that you can allow fuller plants to grow towards the middle of the planter. Works great for lettuces and herbs!

Pros
  • Ideal for those with limited mobility, as you won't have to bend down to water or harvest your strawberries
Cons
  • The product can be too heavy to move around, making it difficult to clean

Great planters!: my feedback

I love these. We used them to plant strawberries. To get them to work correctly in self watering you meed to have them in a stack of at least 3 high. I would certainly order more of these for herbs and other small plants.

Pros
  • Saves you money in the long run, as you won't have to buy individual planters
Cons
  • The product can become unsightly and messy once plants begin to die

This worked great - still have arugula in it in November

I live in NY and still have some greens going in this thing on a covered, unheated, porch all the way into November. Most the other plants died from cold of course, but we got a good long season out of using this on the patio. I found it worked better for established plants to be put into it. I had tried growing some things from seed, but I think the way it waters down the layers does not work the best for that - delicate seedlings flattened. But started plants did great. I had a mix of greens,

Pros
  • Comes with a self-watering system, saving you time and effort
Cons
  • It can be difficult to assemble without prior DIY gardening knowledge

Great but incomplete

After setting it up we realized it only had 4 stackable planters instead if 5. Don't want to return it but are unsure how to get the rest of what we ordered. Everything else about the product is great.

Pros
  • Offers a great way to introduce children to gardening and instill the importance of sustainability
Cons
  • The product can attract bees or other insects that may be a nuisance

Fantastic space saver!

This product is so innovative! I have a small back yard, but love to grow my own food! This gem is now taking the place of a huge bulky earthbox! I can't wait to try my strawberries! Thank you!

Pros
  • Works great an looks beautiful
Cons
  • It's a gimmick that promises more than it can deliver

I had my doubts; it works great

It does what is says it will do.One recommendation is to add wheels to the bottom b/c cold fronts may come in during spring time & it would make it much easier to move around. I bought a plant roller for mine & zip tied it to the bottom.

Pros
  • Improves your mental health, providing a refreshing break from technology and screens
Cons
  • The product can create too much shade for other plants nearby to grow

I'm using this for outdoor succulents. It is a no brainer to assemble, but what I like most about it is I can take it apart to work with plants on a table-top then easily reassemble it. Placed on a flat brick it is easy to swivel to alternate shaded areas or to work on individual plants. Will most likely get a second one.

Pros
  • Indoor/Outdoor - Food Safe - Strong, Flexible, & Lightweight
Cons
  • The design is not aesthetically pleasing

Sturdy, bbut only 1 base arrived

I ordered the 2 pack of these planters, and they arrived today, but only one of the boxes had the bottom base in it (see photo). They look pretty sturdy, so I could stack all 10 together, but if the seller could contact me and send a second base out I would be very appreciative of that.

Pros
  • Pots, Planters & Container Accessories
Cons
  • The pot spacing is too close together
