poorly done but the only option for maxline.

Poor metal quality and terrible workmanship. I like the Maxline system but most threaded fittings will leak even with Teflon or paste. The threads are out of specification and the coating comes off when the part is screwed in, creating leaks. It works and you have no other options for this system, but be prepared to spend a lot of time just reducing leaks.

I was initially impressed with all the reviews and YouTube videos on this system but found a couple of major flaws. Firstly the pipe is very difficult to straighten as it is made of plastic and aluminium, and secondly the threads on the fittings can be stripped very easily and are then unusable. The tubing/hoses that go with the fittings are also so tight that even with a little soap to lubricate the rubber o-rings will sometimes crack or break, requiring the o-ring to be replaced. Not…

Expensive but excellent quality. Came with fuses?

I was wondering why my fitting comes with fuses? I suspect it was some sort of packaging error. The rest of the product conforms to the description and excellent quality. They are slightly more expensive than all Maxline fittings. If possible, make bends in your main line and use them where you don't have enough space. I chose the 3/4" Maxair kit as I need a lot of airflow to run my plasma torch. The inner diameter is only about 1/2 inch, which creates limitations and defeats the purpose of…
