Description of ๐Ÿ”— Set of 4 Maxpedition 3-Inch TacTie Straps

We finish our bags with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance and add a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. Only the best components and designs are used. We use complete YKK zippers and slides exclusively unlike our competitors who put YKK slides on generic zippers. we add military grade nylon webbing for straps, handles, and modular attachment points. Genuine Duraflex buckles and hardware add strength and functionality. Starting with large, unseamed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon, we meticulously reinforce each stress point with composite thread. No unnecessary seams or polyester parts are used. Closed loop design provides an extremely secure connection. Once properly engaged, a TacTie strap will not open unless deliberately disengaged by the user. Detachment is quick and easy by hand. There is no need to use special tools. Completely reusable and interchangeable.

Fabulous! Safety and survival

That's great! There are countless reviews complaining about this. You just have to watch the video on the Maxpedition website. It's very easy. They're a bit tight when you're done, but that's how it should be so they don't fall off. Just make sure they line up straight.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Easy installation and secure anchor point.

bought these to attach a bib to a molle plate holder. Use these straps to convert horizontal Molle straps into a vertical attachment point for quick clips. They work great and attach the bib securely. Setup was easy: thread the straps through the molle straps and back through the buckle. Tools are not required.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

Same views for models 3 and 5

1. Maxpedition2 quality. Stay where you put them 3. You can support the weight4. They weave in and out of the Mollys' web like a hot knife through butter. They hold up very well. I have some really old ones that still do the job. Waterproof but not flame retardant7. Take your time with the times and crazy weather conditions8. A safer option than alternatives like plastic clips and longer button ties.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Available in white only

Flipping my previous review

A package was merged with another package and hidden. Nothing special in design. As you would expect it's well made, well constructed and super strong. I used a 3 inch strap to attach the zip pouch to the Kodiak belt. Difficult to attach (which I want) because the webbing barely goes through the plastic clip. , Once properly attached, the thing is going nowhere. All Maxpedition products are first class. You will not be disappointed.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Unsafe

Great buy for MOLLE users.

GREAT addition for those using the MOLLE system. Hard as hell, but also a little hard to come by. Not very difficult to remove, you just need to sit down and take 2-3 minutes to sit down and do it. No tools required. They're also much easier to take off if you wear them a little. Particularly well suited for the Maxpedition products themselves. Included is a decent picture of my USMC Assault 3 Day Backpack with Maxpedition Mini Pocket Organizer so you can see the dimensions and use of theโ€ฆ

Good idea but there are better ones

Let me first say that overall Maxpedition products are great. I have a lot of bags, backpacks and gear, but these things need to be worked on and the designers have to go back to the drawing board. Pros: They're durable, match other gear, and have great stitching. Cons: They are VERY difficult to attach to a MOLLE pack. The part that goes through the buckle is almost too big. I literally rubbed my thumb as I pushed it through. Verdict: Works great if you plan placement carefully and don't planโ€ฆ

A good product. fits survival kits

I love these things but won't buy them again simply because I can make them for a fraction of the price and in any length I want and with the same or better materials . The only thing wrong with them is their price. After doing a little research on buying DIY materials, I've come to the conclusion that Maxpedition does the absolute kill with this. The materials are very cheap even at retail. Using US milspec webbing and ITW triplanes and hand stitched on a Speedy Stitcher I can make these forโ€ฆ

  • Can't remember

Mixed feelings about TacTile

Simple pros and cons. Once in place, your MOLLE system is secure. I find they offer a better grip than the speed clips. The material seems indestructible. Double stitching and high quality weatherproof material. The attachment can be easily undone to quickly remove pieces of your MOLLE system while the straps remain attached to your gear. Maxpedition produces them in a variety of colors to make the MOLLE system look "seamless". just in case you're interested. Take needle nose pliers beforeโ€ฆ

  • Nothing

Like the large version, great but difficult to remove.

I love these things, they hold your gear SECURELY on your gear straps with very little wobble on my pdw carer rig. Super safe draw. Now remember that when you use them, they rush to take them off. Speed clamps are great for constantly changing your gear, but they don't provide the TERRIBLE security situation these things give you if someone grabs you and rips your gear off. from you, or it gets stuck in a door-to-door setup if you're overseas, or during raids if you're a SWAT cop.
