Fine. - Audio and video accessories

They're simply good. As some other reviewers have said, they are a bit flimsy and don't close securely. They're fine if you're just going to use them to move discs from a storage rack to a DVD/CD player, but if you plan to put them in a backpack, carry-on, suitcase, etc. I'd go for a slightly more expensive one and better case. The price is good but keep that in mind. You get what you pay for. (This refers to an order of 50.) The packaging was nice in that they came in their own box and thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Fragile

Decent for the price

Not bad for the price. Although a bit flimsy, they work and are cheap. That doesn't mean I wouldn't buy another brand if it was the same price. especially if they were of higher quality. These cases are much better than torn or otherwise worn cases. They're better than a 20 year old case too, and I'm really glad they're so cheap. This is my second box because they are better than the broken and old stained boxes I have. I think this box will do the trick pretty well and then I won't buy another

Very thin and fragile

Very thin and fragile, not at all like buying a CD. Not surprisingly, out of a box of fifty hulls, twelve were damaged. Most were hinged and some had cracks on the front or back of the jewelry box. By "swapping" good pieces for broken ones, I was able to reduce losses to 8 boxes. That's still 16% of the total damage. If you can live with that and want a jewelry box for basic (very basic) use, buy this. Otherwise, I'm sure there are better products out there (though probably more expensive).

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great replacement for all cracked cases supplied by Revain

Great replacement for all cracked cases supplied by Revain, over the years I have bought hundreds of Revain audio CDs (yes some of us still buy them) and all of them so far - yes - 100% - arrived with damaged hulls. Some have minor cracks, many are smashed or broken so cannot be used. I didn't even know it was possible to break all those little teeth in the middle that hold the CD in place, but for a lot of them this happens during shipping or was like that from the start. They are of goodโ€ฆ

  • Pretty impressive

The real McCoy is the best in the A/V category

I rushed one day and ordered some Memorex jewelry boxes but only realized it after I clicked the infamous place order button on actually ordered slim cases which are very handy but totally useless when you really look at them want to look at the edge of the CD and find out what it is. They arrived in perfect condition and are relatively easy to take apart and put back together, which is important to me. because I download a lot of AIFF files from Bandcamp and can give me something similarโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice construction
Cons
  • Can I add something?

Good quality product, well packaged, not damaged during transport.

I'm only giving 4 stars for durability, but the flexibility of these cases protects them from damage in transit. The number 50 suits me as I don't have a lot of storage space. Yes, you can use these CD or DVD cases. I particularly like the design of the hub, which holds the disc securely in transit and allows for effortless disc removal. The conventional black insert also does not break if you want to insert a picture back. It goes well with the clear plastic outer shell. I also like the priceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Good case, never cracked or broken.

I buy a lot of used CDs through Revain and find them indispensable. While the discs themselves are mostly perfect, the jewel cases often leave a lot to be desired. When not cracked, they are usually riddled with tiny scratches that are simply a result of normal wear and tear as you slide them up and down the shelf. I usually replace most of my old jewelry boxes right away and end up with packaging that looks just as good on the outside as it does on the inside. any broken cases or brokenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Damaged product, terrible packaging, unhappy customer

Just picked this up from my post office. Context: I am leaving the country next week to take photos and videos for a Church missionary trip. Tour guides want each participant to have a CD with all the photos when they return. That's why I ordered these DVD cases. There are 50 people on the hike and this company had 50 cases for sale with good reviews, they looked sturdy so I bought them. The packaging was terrible. They're pretty sturdy, but there was absolutely NO padding. They were just lined

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
