This gauge looks good but my heart sank the second time I started the engine to have a dead gauge. It was like he didn't have the strength. I wired everything correctly including time to connect night dimming (orange wire to headlight circuit). I wiggled the power connector on the back of the sensor a few times and power was restored. I love the look of this thing. Something in it is just "pop”. At first I thought it was damn bright for the night. I then read the instructions and found that the installer didn't connect the orange wire to the headlight wire so night mode didn't work when I turned on the headlights. I took it and did it and bam. As expected, too bright and flashy. Even in dimmed mode at the darkest of the three settings, it's twice as bright as the factory sensors at maximum brightness. Installation was easy, especially if you're mechanical. I've had a fuel pressure sensor from these guys for about 2 years and it has always worked fine. So far the temperature sensor is fine. 1 annoying crap. The cable from the transmitter makes an awkward buzz, so if you run it around the cabin and listen well, it's annoying as hell. I have a 2006 Ford F250 6.0 and I wanted the sensor to match the factory interior lighting. This sensor series does just that. I was very impressed with how well it worked. Every modified diesel must have a pyrometer. The included sensor was very easy to install.
