Looks good, works well but too bright. Even with the dimmer connected. I ended up using window tint to darken it a bit. If I could darken it further with the sensor itself this would be a 5* product.

The device is neat and works well. The wire is small and could be bigger. I installed an oil temperature control diaper in the oil pan of a race car and it worked perfectly. The length of the cable was as advertised, I shortened the power and ground cables that were under the dashboard. There were no problems! Many Thanks.

sensor works great for me. I know there are negative reviews online but I have nothing but good things to say about this product. I've been using it for 1.5 months now, it works perfectly. Make sure you connect all the wires correctly. I soldered mine just in case. Yet again. Great product and appears to be very well built. happy customer

Easy to install when you can access or adjust the 1/8" NPT fitting on the block. All you need to do is ensure the gauge is in good oil flow for accurate results Display easy to read with very clear instructions, the stepper motor movement at startup looks good especially when multiple units are side by side The only issue with this series is that the sensor brightness (especially night settings) is quite intense and can be distracting depending on the installation Location.

Excellent caliber, deducted a star because it is too expensive. I have purchased Trans Temp and Oil Temp and have been very happy with both so far. I just think they could lower the price by about $20. Instructions were very good. The readings that I was able to measure with another device are within the range of accuracy. The temperature sensor is slightly different from the engine sensor. The thread on one of the sensor lugs for the housing was not completely drilled out. I had to cut the thread properly so the sensor would sit flush. Also you can dim them but still be nice and bright. They need to sell a kit that removes about 25% of the light output. Looks really good on the dashboard…

I'm towing a 4300 lb boat and trailer in my 2003 Ford Explorer. I wanted to check the engine oil temperature before the oil passed the DeRale engine oil cooler. (also bought from Revain) I installed the sensor on a tee just in front of the radiator. (I have 1/2" nipples and brass tees from Home Depot).
