🌞 MaxxAir Vent Corp Maxxshade 00-03900 Review

I thought it had LED lighting but it didn't. We didn't see any benefit for the last 6 days of the hike, but we were out of light in the National Forest.

Worked well until the clip holding the sliding bezel broke. Looks like a 50 cent thing, wish Maxxair would replace that but am having trouble getting in touch with them. The lid isn't a durable plastic, more for looks than functionality.

complete garbage. The retractable screen didn't even work. Installation is easy, but the manual handle gets in the way, and maxxfan claims to work with both manual and electric devices! I have an electric maxxfan 7500 but they all have a manual grip as well. In any case, the retractable screen is so bad that it doesn't work at all, but just gets stuck in it. Do not buy!

I doubted the installation would be as easy as packaged. It was. Carefully pry the clips on all 4 sides except the adapter and the outer shell. Remove the four screws from the current fan trim ring and remove it. I taped the adapter (using painter's tape) to the trim ring so I could install the assembly without assistance. I reused the current trim ring screws. Tighten screws. Snap the shroud back onto the adapter. Gently tap on all four sides until the panel is flush with the ceiling. I did…
