Price was right for a cheap thief lock. The locking mechanism isn't great (compared to a Master lock or any other branded lock) but it does what it's designed to slow or deter petty thieves.

Works well but I bought it on purpose because it was black. After 3 months it is no longer black. You can see in the photos that the underside still has the original color and the part that was in the sun has now turned orange-bronze.

Great attention to detail in the design. The lock rotates to the position where the key can be inserted most easily. You don't have to fiddle with how the key enters as it's reversible. The key is cut off on the side to make it difficult to copy or pick up.

I'm not sure how MaxxHaul defines 'everything' but the receiver on the Toyota seems to be about 2mm wider and this thing doesn't quite lock which makes it perfect renders useless . I gave the device two stars because it feels very solid and has a nice secure nub closure. Given the price I will not waste time or effort sending it back but a word of caution to the buyer. If you have a thick clutch this will not work.

I'm looking for a specific shape or style for these pins - I've seen them stolen with a piece of pipe and some torque and they're about to break. This one looks like the head would be difficult to break, but there doesn't appear to be any sealing on the lid to keep water out. This probably isn't a problem for most people, but I use my trucks on sea boat ramps. I try to condition the grips with Corrosionblock or Corrosion-X but sometimes they get neglected anyway.
