Ultimate Trail Performance!

This tire is a game-changer for my mountain biking adventures. The grip and traction it provides on challenging terrain is unmatched, giving me the confidence to take on any trail. The folding feature makes it easy to stow away for quick access on all of my Sports and Outdoors adventures. The only downside is that it is slightly heavier than some other options on the market..

Pros
  • Excellent traction and grip on a variety of terrains.
Cons
  • May wear out faster than other tires in its class due to the soft MaxxTerra compound.

Good California XC Bike Tires

Our Canyon Lux XC bike came with Maxxis Ikon (front) and Aspen (rear). The tires were fine in the winter, but they don't seem to perform well in the summer for California. In summer, the hiking trails here are quite easy. It works much better after we switched to Rekon tires.

Pros
  • - Size: 29" x 2.4"
Cons
  • I don't remember
