not even close to 1100 g/h

The rating for this is a joke. I fully charged the hold of a 12v battery at 12.7v and it is pumping out 20 gallons per hour at best. Licking out of my hold instead of being pumped out. Pretty disappointed. Buy a Sea Sense bilge pump and save yourself the headache.

Superb MAXZONE automatic bilge pump

Superb MAXZONE automatic bilge pump. Great pump and love the fact that I was able to wire it up for automatic and switchable operation. This pump was used for my boat John. Installed on a Saturday night and was on the boat all Sunday and never had to cycle the pump on and off and cycled on and off as needed throughout the day. Fantastic pump and I am very happy with the purchase and would buy another one for my pool as well worth the money!

easy to assemble for swimming

fast shipping, as described, easy to assemble, squeezes a lot of water. returned after heavy rain - water in the hold above the pump. The float did not work on the machine. Pump removed, defective switch found. If the float is raised slowly, it won't work, if it's fast and sharp, it will work. slow water ingress into the bilge means the float didn't activate the switch, there was 1ft of water in the bilge and it still didn't work. I exchanged the device for another make. not sure if i would buy

Works great but DOES NOT have a 3/4 " outlet

So far this pump has worked very well. However, I give it 3 stars because the description clearly states that the outlet size is 3. /4" is NOT 3/4". It's a 1 1/8" hose fitting. Had to order another hose and then do something. The hose in the boat is 3/4" so I had to change from 3/4" to 1 1/8". I forced It Works, although I've seriously considered returning it and getting something else. 3/4"I would probably give it 4 or 5 stars.

Small but very powerful pump

I have a small pool in my garden. It used to be a children's pool, now it's just a small garden. Every time it rains the pool fills up with water and we have to pump out the water to avoid mosquitoes. It has been raining heavily for the past few weeks and my old pump has not done its job well. I read about this pump and bought it. When the package arrived I was very upset because the pump was so small. However, after my husband got the hose (3/4" diameter, $8 @ Homedepot), hooked it up to the…

Still working on boat

Pros: - Price. Seriously, that's a good price for an emergency pump. - Small size and light weight. - A decent gallon per hour for such a small setup. 1100 gallons per hour is good, but remember this reduces pumping significantly. The 12V capability makes it versatile. Internal float switch. Saves you money. Cons: - Custom size exit port. I had to make an adapter using a flexible hose to get it to the standard size. I think they should include some adapters to make it easier for people. (if you

Good water pump on bilge pumps

I bought this pump as an emergency drain pump for my basement. My immediate concern was the pump's ability to deliver the 9 feet of head I needed for the application. It turns out the pump can do that. The manual says the maximum fall height is 5 meters, but we know better than to believe anything our Chinese friends tell us. I haven't been able to test the maximum head, but I have tested that the pump delivers at 1ft and 8ft head. As with all centrifugal pumps, the flow rate is heavily…
