They are true to color and size and have a high quality feel. My son loves her. The only thing wrong with them is the words on the shoes. Shoes that say what they say. But on one side of one of the shoes is some broken English sentence, I have no idea what that is and it doesn't make any sense. It's not that important. Considering how hard it is to find all the bright green shoes for a nine year old under $60.

The bottom increases the height by at least 3/4 inch. The laces have no eyelets. If the laces are tightened, they can puncture the top of the fabric. In my part of the world, unfortunately, there are cacti and other sharp objects that can pierce the fabric and sides of your feet. Thin fabric does not protect. I bought them because I thought they looked good and the price was right. I guess I'll have to pay more for something that survives in the real world.

I had Brooks, Asics, Mizuno sneakers. I'm not saying it's better than Mizuno because it isn't. I say you get 80% performance for 1/5 the price. So if the last 20% doesn't matter because you're not a company-sponsored Olympic athlete, you might want to try these shoes. The EVA outsole is more durable than the crocodile, but grips better on asphalt, and the insole is very soft, instead of memory foam, more durable. So I think a slightly less durable EVA might make running more comfortable, but…
