When they say it's 6.5 inches wide they seem to be referring to the top external measurements. just under 6 inches they will not fit. I was willing to put up with brittleness and cracks to get the right size. Why can't container sellers just provide the inside dimensions? This is more important to me than external dimensions.

I use them to clean my freezer. Perfect for storing vegetable bags or meat bags, they are easy to find and retrieve without having to rummage through and mess up individual items. I use one for meat, one for fruit, one for ice cream, etc. When I open a bag of lollipops it really holds them together. The attached lid makes stacking easier. They are transparent so I can find the "box" I need and pull it out.

I actually bought 2 of these to fit our kitchen utensils in the cupboards because my boyfriend is germ shy. It really helps him to feel a bit better if he has them covered in the cupboard before taking them out to cook (ps he usually cleans them under hot water before using them :). These items are ideal for keeping tarantulas. The vent holes are easy to melt with a soldering iron. It's easy to attach a few cupboard magnets to make things a little more secure. Very clearly. Love these boxes very much! They look great, fit great. But. I pressed three sizes and they came in three batches. Each batch had one or more broken boxes. Each time I had to contact support. I asked them to wrap them in bubble wrap but they didn't do it every time. When I got a replacement, both of those boxes had broken or cracked boxes. Between original shipments and replacement shipments, I received what I ordered. In short, if they don't change the shipping method, they will arrive broken.

I am very happy with the quality of these boxes. They are beautifully made and finished. They seem sturdy enough to withstand regular use. They are good and clear.
