Check before use

The US side (inches) is completely wrong. What's the point of a tape measure that can't measure? Update: Upgraded from one to two stars as not all roulettes had this bug.

Incorrect measurement in inches!

Wrong inches! I made several mistakes with this very poor product before realizing it was my cassette. This is the ONLY function of it - taking measurements, and it is completely disabled. Very bad!

Tape measure excellent value

Excellent value for a standard household item that we always lose. They're like branded gifts that diet/fitness companies give away. After a while, the spring can break and the tape won't retract, but in our house, such accessories tend to get lost long before that.

Easy on and off

They are perfect for my needs and my expectations. I wouldn't expect them to hold up to excessively long use, but it's important to me to have this on hand when you need it. That's enough for my needs for a while. The tape pulls and retracts easily, and for the most part, easily and evenly.

Perfect compact size

Ideal tape measure. I don't really need 3, but I'm sure I'll find a use for the extra ones. Since they are small, I already put 1 in my purse. You never know when you'll be shopping, you might see an item that you think will fit in your home. Well, your handy tape measure shows up. Then another in case one breaks. Pink, green and white. I did not expect, but the kit also included an ordinary tape measure. What offer!

Much better than a standard tape measure!

Sometimes you just need to know how big an object is. As an enthusiastic craftsman, I take a lot of measurements. I've used standard/measuring tapes for years, but they're bulky when you need to be portable. I have a compact knit bag that I take with me on trips that fits in my carry-on. This tape measure is perfect and it's great to have 8 of them. I've put one in every workshop in the house, in my suitcase, in my car, and given one to a fellow crafter for her projects. Light weight, easy to use.

My boys (1 and 3) love to play with my tape measure so I decided to get my own. I gave up on the toy version because it has a folding handle that would be too heavy for my 1 year old. I came across them and they are perfect. Perfect size for small hands, convenient retract button and light weight. This Christmas each boy has 1 stocking and they love it very much. I have to constantly measure the length of the clothes I want to buy and I don't like constantly using a fabric tape measure that I then have to roll or fold. I've had several of these over the years and they are much more convenient to use and store. I didn't REALLY need eight, but loved the color choices and they make great little gifts.
