DRY SHOVEL! c Measuring tools and scales

I needed a small and light measuring spoon that can be kept in a coffee can. This measuring spoon is 60 cm3/ml. that's perfect for a full pot of coffee. Knowing that a regular coffee pot can be made with an exact filling, I can add ground coffee for stronger or less coffee if desired. I love having the perfect coffee spoon size in my coffee pot.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Broke on first use - Kitchenware & Gadgets

Not sure if it cracked due to poor packaging or broke on first use. He broke the handle. We use it to measure out 1/2 cup of dog food from a Buddeez 8 gallon pet feeder. It works and I love the design of the handle that doesn't protrude like other shovels so it's easy to put on and take off from the half open lid. However, it is not very durable.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • No instructions

Great price for a sturdy spoon

I bought these spoons to replace the short handled spoons that came with my pre-workout powder. The handle is long enough that I can reach the bottom of the container without getting my hands dirty with powder. Also, the handle is pretty solid and I have no problem with the handle flexing when I scratch the bottom of the container.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Handle too small for stability

Bought to give a measured amount of dog food but it is very flimsy, handle is short and narrow and even with my small hands it was too small to squeeze the whole cup grab and hold without feeling like it's about to fall out of your hands. The plastic is flimsy, so it probably won't hold up to heavier liquids. I threw mine in the trash and bought something else. Very disappointed.

Versatile and easy to use

Ideal for adding to dry food such as flour, sugar, coffee etc. I use it for my dry dog and cat food as well as dehydrated metered food. This is accurate as I compared them to standard measuring cups. The handles fit well in the hand. I also like to have a few extra pieces to use around the garden for measuring plant nutrition and dispensing things like driveway defroster and scooping soil into pots. Versatile for many uses.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Unreliable

Sturdy Dog Food Spoon

I feed my dog 1 cup of food for breakfast and dinner and the handle of the thin plastic measuring cup I used broke off so I looked for a molded plastic measuring cup and this one seems unbreakable. I love the handy spout that allows me to just pour my dog's small amount of food into her bowl. I'm taking off a star because the little notch at the top of the handle collects a few grains that will inevitably fall out unless I'm very careful.

Pros
  • Well Made
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Pretty cheap for cups

I use a 1/3 measuring cup to measure my dog's food and one of my dogs chewed my 1/3 cup when I left it on the dinner table (well, ok, two chewed but one intact). Trying to find a replacement for the 1/3 cup measuring cup without the 1/4, 1/2, 1 cup mix wasn't easy so I was glad to find them but they don't cost ยฃ5 dollars apiece. They're really cheaply made, probably costing a lot less than $1. Next time I'll go to the dollar store and see if I have better luck.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Sad gear

Decent but not the best for my purpose

I drink liquid fish oil and would like to drink 2 teaspoons every morning but don't want to clean my existing teaspoon every day. Good for that BUT when I put them in the dishwasher they don't always clean that well. (Usually when I put 6 in the dishwasher there is still some oil left on the 1-2.) It could be the dishwasher to blame, but that doesn't happen with the other teaspoons I have. (My current guess is that since they're cylindrical rather than spherical, they're not as easy to clean in

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Annoying
