Crafting essential for my opinion

I use this in my craft room and have no complaints whatsoever. They are sharp but come with a plastic cover so no accidental cuts when reaching for one in the tool jar. I've used three so far, each one three or four times before tossing. I've been tossing not because they dulled, but because I use them to trim resin and they got sticky. I also used them to trim a silicone rubber mold I made and to cut polymer clay.I have no complaints at all.

Pros
  • VERY sharp! Work great
Cons
  • the handle bends. was not impressed

Sterile and Individually wrapped

These are pretty great individually wrapped sterile #10 Scalpels. I use these at home for craft projects and Dermaplaning.Fair priceHigh QualitySecure bladeSharpThe blade will not come off without a lot of work - as you can see from my image the plastic handle has been melted over the blade keyhole (the slot where you attach a blade to the handle which is normally metal - but since this is disposable it is plastic) This is a nice security feature.I recently had a splinter that was under the…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • The cost of the disposable blades can add up quickly

Excellent quality disposable scalpels

I like the fact that they are individually wrapped.I have used scalpels for arts and crafts since I was in high school and the doctor my mom worked with gave me a few to try. They get a much finer cut and give you more control than an Exacto knife.Since then, the scalpels have also become a part of my kitchen supplies. They are marvelous for scoring bread. Great for carving vegetables into decorative designs. They are essential if one must carve a pumpkin for Halloween.Great for opening boxes…

Pros
  • The plastic handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and ease of use during extended periods of dermaplaning
Cons
  • The packaging may not be easily recyclable in all areas

Sharp and Accurate: my feedback

I am a stained glass artist who needs to clean up copper foil lines now and then. These knifes allow the smallest cut and I just peel off the excess! Love them!

Pros
  • Lab Utensils
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin

My wife has been using these scapels in her lab. She likes having disposable scalpels. With the non-disposable scalpels, she needs to remove the scalpel blade when it deteriorates and replace it. It's a pain. With these disposable scalpels, she just tosses the blade and the handle when the blade is finished. So these are easier to use and safer than the others. The blade is ok. She says it lasts to cut 5-10 pieces of tissue, even horse skin. She wishes the handle were made from firmer material.

Pros
  • The MedHelp Disposable Scalpel's high-carbon steel blades ensure superior sharpness and precision for a flawless dermaplaning experience
Cons
  • The product may require multiple passes to achieve desired results, causing discomfort

Box of 20 Sterile Plastic Handled #10 Scalpel Blades

I received this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the revain Vine Program. Seller the MedHelp Store lists these as "Disposable Scalpel 10, Pack of 20 Disposable Dermaplaning Blades with Plastic Handle, Surgical Knife Scalpel, High Carbon Steel Dermablade Surgical Blades. Individually Wrapped 10 Blade ● Box of 20". I use scalpels for crafting all the time. Their sharpness is superb, the blades are strong and last longer than X Brand blades in my opinion. Picture 1 shows the…

Pros
  • The MedHelp Disposable Scalpel is a trusted and reputable product, backed by years of experience and a commitment to quality and safety
Cons
  • The blades may require frequent replacement during use, increasing costs and waste

Good for home use in my review

I couldn't help but laugh when I read the product description for these scalpels. One of the lines at the top says "IMAGINE YOURSELF WINNING EVERYDAY!". So that means if I buy these scalpels and use them everyday, that makes me a winner and my life is perfect? I'm not sure about that, but at least these are good scalpels. I never even thought of using a tool like this before unless I was a surgeon working in a hospital, but after receiving this 20-pack and trying them out, I can see how they…

Pros
  • The sterile packaging and disposable nature of the blades makes them an ideal choice for use in medical and clinical settings
Cons
  • The product may have a strong chemical odor that is unpleasant for some users
