Big improvement in sound quality!

These cables were a huge improvement over my previous cables. I switched to them from what I thought were decent 14g cables. But due to lack of space I needed spade connectors instead of banana plugs and used these 12g cables instead. After installation, I found that the high frequencies were noticeably smoother and less harsh. Yes, and the overall dynamics seemed stronger, denser. I was usually skeptical about how very simple cables can affect the sound of a system, but changed my mind after…

Really well made cables; at 12 AWG is excessive for the length of this cable. At 6 feet tall, 18AWG FAST can handle loads up to 4 ohms; In comparison, 12 AWG can run 60 feet into 8 ohms, 6 ohms can run 45 feet, and into a 4 ohm load it can run 30 feet. So if my calculations are correct, that's about 5 times more. Never say I don't appreciate bells and whistles (or, as Tim Allen would say, "more power"). The cable itself is flexible, looks like a quality product, all the connectors in the…

I recently ordered a pair of 6ft spade terminals. I chose Peaks because the speakers have 5-pin connectors and the amp manufacturer (Cambridge Audio) said they also have 5-pin connectors. It's not like this. What the manufacturer referred to as 5 pin terminals were actually regular screw terminals with large molded plastic caps on top of the screw caps to make them look like terminals. The terminals also had high protrusions at the bases, which precluded the use of spade terminals. Also, the…
