💊 Large Silver MCC-LGS Medication Carrying Case - Secure and RX-Safe Review

I bought this case with the intention of carrying medicine home from the clinic twice a week. When I first got it my husband set it up for me with the combination I chose and it worked fine. Less than a month later, the numbers started spinning badly and the latch was struggling to close. I've been using it this way ever since and now it won't open at all. I had it for four months. For the price I would have expected a longer lifespan.

I purchased these and the one I received was defective and I contacted the company before contacting Amazon and they responded almost immediately. They sent me a new box the same day. Very friendly and polite and this box is great. I like that it has the option for key and combination. I have ADHD so having a fallback is important lol. Definitely a quality product worth the price. It also has 4 small holes in case you need to mount it on a counter, floor or whatever.

Edited the original review after 3 months. I'll tell you why! The part of the lock that snaps into the box itself opens for no reason! It's so annoying. Every time I grab the handle and lift it up it opens and squirts it all out. It's very frustrating and I end up having to buy another one because this one doesn't stay blocked no matter what I try. I like the style of the box and the combo with the key so I left no stars at all.

I got one of these to keep my meds safe upstairs so my little son can never get them. It looks nice and sturdy from the outside, but the keys are locked in the safe. Unfortunately I couldn't open it. The case arrived with the keys and instructions included. I emailed the support team and received an immediate response. The solution is to make sure the combo is set to 0-0-0, then move the keyhole tab to the right. It opened right away! It would be helpful for them to include this in the description or add instructions on the outside of the box for people like me who have never had to use these things.
