Got this as a birthday present for my husband who was a dinosaur fanatic. He had a lot of fun putting it together and my son loved the minions that came with it. The toy is not for a boy and takes a long time to assemble.

We bought this for my kid mainly because he loves dinosaurs, he's not a big fan of minions. And the price was amazing, about a quarter of what the local shops were charging. He only got four stars because the dinosaur didn't stand up after assembly.

This is a great Lego model. If it's for a younger child, they'll likely need help (and probably wreck it!). However, I think it was worth it. Many parts are movable, which makes the game even more fun. Minions are great guys too. Standard Lego size.

So MegaBlocks isn't Lego quality and packaging isn't bound by instructions so you'll need to empty ALL the packs to complete the set. As long as you have a 5-6 compartment container, it's easy to make. I use the Safeway round vegetable tray to help my child. The pieces don't go together as well as Lego, but if you're a Minion lover these sets will do.

This is a very cute toy but not intended for small children at all! It took my husband and I about 3-4 hours to assemble and it came to around 500 pieces. My son loves it but it was more pain than it was worth. I think a kid over 8 years old will like it more since they can assemble it.

Took forever to assemble. Claws and teeth fall out all the time. He's unstable and terrible to play with. Can't get it to stand up as it keeps shifting, contrary to the pretty picture on the box. I am very disappointed and so is my son. Was a Christmas present, as was his most important toy. I'm sorry I bought it! The pieces don't stay together and it's just a bunch of toy mess!

So very disappointed. Firstly, this is the age of 5 years and older. I'm 30 and it was very difficult for me to put that together. It was supposed to be a birthday present for my 6 year old, he couldn't even help me with that. The pieces were so difficult to put together. I also spent a few hours. They urgently need to change the age on the packaging. I don't think I will ever buy Mega Bloks again. Luckily I still had a gift for my son, he was so disappointed he couldn't help it.

I'm an adult Lego fan and have been collecting various sets for at least ten years.
