It's perfect, just what I was looking for

This is perfect, just what I was looking for! Although I had to modify the brace on my truck so it could tighten it enough to keep the spacer from dangling. Otherwise it works great and still gets the same reception.

Looks good but reception was not good - quick return

Looks good but reception was not good. That's a little better than no antenna. But not nearly as good as the previous one or the one I just replaced it with. I have the short one, maybe the 7" works better. Return was quick.

One side fits well and if it is the same size/thread on both sides.

We had the same problem as in the previous review - it's supposed to fit our car and after manual measurement (according to the manufacturer) it still doesn't fit. One side fits fine and if it was the same size/thread on both sides it would be fine, but they are different sizes on the same screw.
