easy to use for beadwork and jewelry making

15 minutes after opening the package I was able to place the ring on my arthritic wrist and back on my finger. This helps to lubricate the device before use.

First you should know what your ring is made of.

I guess there's nothing wrong with that, but it was useless for my purposes. I wanted to resize my wife's wedding ring but unfortunately this is not possible as it is tungsten carbide and cannot be resized. I guess I'll leave it as a curiosity.

Great tool! Requires force to get out.

This ring wrench is great. I've been at odds with a stubborn jeweler for 6 months about a ring augmentation I performed. After an annoying 6 months of back and forth I finally got my ring back only to find that Master had never enlarged it. Ten minutes with this ring expander (and hammer) and I enlarged the ring myself. The ring fits like a dream and I owe it all to this little widget. Note: After plugging the piston, stretch the ring; You have to use a hammer to push the plunger back. It gets…

Fits most rings but not all

The ring stretcher arrived on time and in perfect condition. This works on most rings, going up a size or two, but going a little larger will crack the metal in the ring. A NOTICE. It will not stretch thick rings and rings made of harder metal like titanium or stainless steel. The plunger tends to stick, so rub it with a bar of soap to make it smooth before using. I also recommend not using a metal hammer as it would flatten and jam the bottom of the cone, so use a plastic or rubber headed…

You get what you pay for.

I am a jewelry artist and have been using this for about 5 months. Pros, it's affordable, pretty easy to use and makes the ring bigger. Cons: Very difficult to pull out or peel off once you've enlarged the ring. It says size 6.5 and up, but after 5 months of use it's finally stretched and you can't get any less than an 8. Another thing is you have no idea how many shots or how deep you need a bar get pounded in, so literally hope for the best. The first 5 or 6 times I over enlarged the ring and

Incomplete Item

I don't know if the seller understands what the components involved are for. The nylon stand that comes with the ring stretcher is a vital component and is incomplete. The stretcher is assumed to be partially in the nylon stand and there is a hole in the center of the stand for the metal rod during measurement. The problem is that the nylon stay doesn't have a cutout like it should, so the subframe can partially face inward to hold it in place. There's no point in drilling a hole in the nylon…
