Meguiar's G10240 Smooth Surface XL Clay Kit (240g): Ultimate Solution for Flawless Finish Review

I have never used clay to sculpt a car. I have a 2010 Pearl White MDX. It's amazing how pure and restored the color is. A layer of wax on it and the car looks like new.

I watched a lot of Clay Stick videos before sanding my 2014 BLACK Ram 1500. Result. Don't be afraid of the clay stick. super easy. Smear the paint, then gently run the clay bar across the record with your fingertips. Use the same touch as you would checking a baby's diaper without waking the baby. Get a clay bar!. In 2 minutes you will realize how easy it really is. Do not exaggerate. Wash your car thoroughly. Read the label. Even as a beginner, I didn't scratch the paint.

Never used clay on cars. But I really wanted to learn how to detail my car as my business grows. This product is amazing. All dirt and bumps on the painted surface have disappeared as if by magic. Although it took me forever to finish the whole car, it was worth it. I used this Clay Detailing Kit with Car Guys Premium Liquid Wax. My car looks better than when I bought it. Now I need to learn how to detail the interior. I just don't know what to do lol

This product did exactly what it was intended to do. In mho it needs a buffer for clearing. It was difficult to remove by hand and was streaky. Once I used the buffer most of the streaks were gone. Leaks are completely eliminated after applying 2 coats of sealant (Sealant Meguiars M-21). If I use this again, I won't be using Meguiar's Quick Mist and Wipe Detailer as lube. I will look for something else as I think the lube was the cause of the streaks as I have previously had streaking issues…

Easy to use; You simply apply the clay to the surface after spraying Quick Detailer onto the paintwork of a washed car and allow the remaining liquid to dry. I do one section at a time and it goes pretty quickly. Then buff it with a microfiber cloth, but as directed in the instructions, a good coat of wax really adds shine.
