This product will remove fine scratches that are visible under certain lighting conditions, but will not remove deep scratches that reveal underlying metal. My new black car had light scratches from the dealer who washed my car before delivery. But ScratchX 2.0 removed most of them. I am very satisfied with the result. But ScratchX 2.0 didn't scratch my 8 year old van much. So the result depends on the type of scratch you have.
