Meguiars G4000 Supreme Shine Protectant Review

Recommended to me by a local boat dashboard upholstery shop. The sun is gone, I started using this product and it lasts much longer than other brands.

These wipes smell fantastic (coconut?) and are great for picking up dust/ash/dirt in your car. They leave a slight sheen which is nice but be careful, make sure you use them on ALL the surfaces you clean; Any part left unwiped will appear dull/faded against the gloss.

Although the packaging says HIGH GLOSS, this product is too shiny. Made my insides wet and greasy. After 24 hours it still looked terrible. I had to use a magic eraser to clean the inside and then use another trusted brand of wipes again. I love Meguiars in general and will continue to use other Meguiars products. Not these towels.

These little fellows go their own way. I recently bought this for my wife's 2020 Traverse and my '99 Pontiac Trans Am and I absolutely love them. They certainly look great on darker objects, but are also very durable. So if you're rubbing something or lightly cleaning an area in the process, they don't care, like some of the cheaper brands. Overall good price and product.

I had a bad experience with these products on my car. One felt that the cloths were oily and left oil stains on the seats and dashboard of the car. I had to use other wipes to remove stains/stains. I have to say the wipes were kept in my car during the hot Los Angeles summer, but it doesn't say anywhere that you shouldn't, does it? So I'm a little confused as to whether I want to use them again.

I don't like writing reviews. And I have to be absolutely honest. When I first used this on my new car's dashboard, I just wiped what I could get hold of at the time. I was upset when I went to my car later and what I wiped away was a light color. I thought I screwed up my new car. I realized that what was light was the processed part. I didn't pay attention to the interior of my Buick. Many months. More like a year. These wipes removed dirt and dust in one go leaving a beautiful, very even shine. They smell a lot like coconut, which I wasn't expecting (maybe it says so on the packaging, but I missed it). My car smells like it's ready for a base tan. But it looks like new!
