I love them to grow! They don't pick up a lot of product, so you get a more even distribution of the wax over the paint surface. Just make sure you do your best to keep the paintwork as clean as possible because unlike a microfiber pad, dirt and debris has nowhere to go so you risk scratching the paintwork if you use one.

I bought these foam pads to work with the various waxes, glazes and sealers I've bought for my vehicles and I have to say they work really good. This is the same type of applicator that Meguiars comes with each of their wax products. What disappointed me was their size (that's my fault), they were much smaller than I expected. I thought they were the same size as the foam applicator pads they gave you in the Meguiars wax cans, but they are a lot smaller. The price was good for what you got.

These are great applicators and I usually order them every year. I use them to apply liquid wax to my car, coat tires with gel (separately for each step, of course), and apply leather conditioner to car seats. Meguiar X3070 Soft Foam 4" Applicator Pads are great for applying polish; I purchased these applicator pads along with the ColorX Color Restorer/Polish and found them to be very soft, apply polish/wax evenly and In my experience they don't scratch the paint either! I use these pads for two purposes: to wax/seal my car paint and to apply conditioner to my vinyl convertible top. I have an orbital buffer that I use to polish my car, but if I just want to apply wax or sealer they do the job well. They are very soft so they cannot harm the car as long as it is painted clean. There is nothing worse for those who go to great lengths to keep their car looking like new. The more disgusting twists!
