💄 Mehron Makeup Paradise AQ Tropical 8 Color Palette for Face & Body Paint Review

I bought this tropical palette and I think it's a fake. I have other heavenly colors and they work great, easy to work with and very opaque too. None of the colors in this palette are opaque and I have to use too much product for it to show. I've used less water and more water so far with no success. For the first time! I love it, these colors take face painting to a whole new level! They are bright and durable, I am very happy with this product and will be purchasing in the future!

Based on the price and reviews, I had high expectations. Tropical is a mango color that doesn't really suit a tiger. I was able to make my own brown using purple and the lightest color. It was a beautiful shade. I like all colors except mango. The color of the mango was also so transparent.

I didn't know it had a mirror until it arrived broken. It was bubble wrapped and well packaged, as it should have been before shipping. All broken glass carefully removed and my daughter loves them. A good product. Not great but good.

This body paint is amazing! It dries very quickly on the skin and once dry will not move unless water is applied. Very easy to build cover. The colors are highly pigmented and you don't need a lot of water to activate them. This palette will last a LONG time unless you are going to paint all over your body. Wow! I'm in love with those stupid slick face paints! I've used other brands including crayons which were difficult to work with, plus the kids had itchy noses all day and smeared their faces afterwards. But paradise colors are the complete opposite! They're so creamy to work with, easy to apply, you can create broad strokes and fine lines. Gorgeous coverage, rich, vibrant colors. I just love this thing. I'm new to face painting, but I needed quality stuff that would allow me to grow as an 'artist'. It's expensive for someone who doesn't use it professionally, but the smell, colors, ease of application, and quality are amazing. My nine-year-old son and I train together and the product is evolving quickly, but it will revolve around summer festivals and Burning Man. The colors are vibrant, there are no rashes or reactions on my sensitive skin, just wonderful to use.

I have 5 children and we always spend a small fortune hiring people to entertain the children during a birthday party. I was hoping that I could lower the cost of a person painting a face. I was hesitant to draw children's faces myself, but I practiced with my children two weeks before the party. It was easy for me to look like a pro with this product! Now I can't wait for the next party.

Love! Looks great! The key is to apply a small amount of water to create a creamy look. Dries fast. Excellent stuff. Definitely recommend! My daughter won the costume contest.
