The bit can effectively rip through thick materials without compromising on the quality of the cut. Although it's slightly expensive, it's worth every penny spent for its high-quality design and durability. Definitely worked.

This is the first hardfacing cutter I've ever used, so I chose an inexpensive solution to experiment with. It worked really well and I don't think I lost anything by choosing a good price. It certainly smoothed out my countertop well with a lively edge, and it looks like it still has a lot of life in it.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Slightly Cracked

Dull and Dangerous Best in Power and Hand Tools

Bought this to see if the ash biscuit top would cover. It will not. Mounted on a Dewalt variable speed router at 18,000 rpm on the first pass, it began to burn through the wood at a depth of cut of 1/16 and about 1/3 the width of the bit. It tarnishes very quickly and blunt tools are dangerous. I returned it. Don't waste your time or money. I bought a Freud 1 3/4" nozzle for a few dollars and am very satisfied.

Pros
  • Edge & Groove Router
Cons
  • Available in White Only
