pocket rocket. Best in Camera & Photo category

Almost the same performance as my old favorite 283, but it's a MUCH smaller package that does a lot more. It will be a great addition to your higher level point shooting.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradable

Great little controller!

I just bought five Yongnuo flashes for a specific project and needed a controller to fire them all at once for a super fast action shot. This controller was well priced so I bought it. I just tried this today with all 5 flashes and they all fired at the same time with no interference! Great controller!

Pros
  • Sturdy Surface
Cons
  • Something different

Good flash but definitely not for compact cameras

Yes, fits/works on MOST but not on P7700 or P7800 compact cameras no matter how I change flash or camera settings. Too bad. This is the perfect flash size for a compact camera, great features and accessories, very nice build. Much better than anything Nikon offers at 10x the price!

I love this flash - Shoe Mount Flashes

Works great with my d500. I also have this flash in the Sony version for my RX10. It's perfect, small and compact and I also like that it has LED lighting. I'm not sure how good this flash is, I haven't tested it. I always bounce the flash, and when there are no walls or ceilings to reflect off of, or when I'm outdoors, I use a bounce reflector like the Flashbender. On this flash, because if it was tiny, I would use a smaller reflector. The flash output is 1/4 that of the sb-910, so it's not a…

The lowest flash setting is too bright. Return.

At 128, the lowest flash brightness setting, it's as bright as other flashes that give the same brightness as 64 (almost exactly). This is not good. Basically, the power brightness set at 128 is the same as the 64 brightness you see on other flashes. Too strong for some indoors. Overexposed in small spaces. Aside from this issue (which makes me want to go back), everything else is fine. Especially the video mode. Turn it on and press the power button once and the flash stays on for indoor…

Works well. Nikon D850 may need a cart

Works very well on Nikon D4. On Nikon D850 works well in manual mode. However, in iTTL mode, the flash may not work initially. There appears to be a very slight mechanical mismatch between the camera and flash contacts. To use iTTL mode, fully insert the flash into the camera's accessory shoe. Turn on the camera and flash (in iTTL mode). Look for a flashing orange flash-ready icon in the lower-right corner of the viewfinder. If it is not visible, carefully unthread and remove the flash approx…
