Warning: There may be broken pieces

My almost 2 year old loves this toy. However, I think it could be better polished. After the first week of playing with this toy, I found three splinters on it. Two on the arms and one on the leg. I asked my husband to sand the details a bit but the holes are small so it's a bit difficult. Probably wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Handy part
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

I love Melissa and Doug!

Bought for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas. It stole the show from everyone! He wasn't interested in other unwrapped gifts and all the boys fought about it. I like that it's basically two in one, with the dice being playable separately from the truck. Clearance holes in the center of each block so nothing else can be dragged on a trailer.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

Broke almost 2 weeks.

The toy itself looks good, the blocks are big, but the small wooden sticks holding the blocks are starting to break. My 2 year old nephew was able to pull the pole out with little effort. The letters on the blocks are big and colorful and there are pictures around them, which is nice though. It's a good toy but I don't think I can recommend it if it falls apart after 2 weeks of play.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great toy! in Toys for Babies and Toddlers

I love Doug and Melissa's toys but this has to be one of my son's all time favorite toys! What a wonderful use for the alphabet bricks thrown out of those train cars or hidden in the toy box where the letter is always missing. My ABC obsessed son plays with this so much! we even take them with us in the car and on trips, since they all fit on trailer pegs, we know immediately if a letter is missing and look for it. Excellent quality and finish. The letters are raised on the blocks and then…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Hard to say

LOVE THESE BEADS! for sorting and stacking toys

I love this gem from Melissa and Doug. A great alternative to basic ABC blocks as they have a fun truck to stack them on. The only thing I want to change is the style of the blocks. I want them to have the exact same letters and numbers as the normal other Melissa and Doug blocks. They only contain letters :(Every child should have this set! At 19 months my son started learning the alphabet thanks to them. At 23 months he could read the entire alphabet (both sequentially and randomly) and could
