We have several of these portable books. Everyone loves her! With just a tube filled with very little water and a brush at the end, you'll discover the colors and hidden images on each page. After many uses, the "hidden" images will begin to appear before the page gets wet. But it's still a great toy. Great for disruption-free creativity for kids of all ages!

This is a near perfect product. My 3 year old has a few of these and little hands squeeze the brush hard. If you apply too much pressure, the colour-changing surface will be scraped away, leaving the color impression underneath exposed and visible. Both of her books have streaks of color on almost white, dry pages. But for $5, that's really my only gripe. This is a great concept, she loves to "paint"!

My son loves them. They are ideal for traveling and just relaxing. He's a bit heavy with the brush so some pictures end up with scratches, but he's learning. This particular item came to me with a damaged and already worn front cover, although I know I paid for something new. It doesn't look good enough to be the Christmas present I wanted. It would be 5 stars if they sent me an undamaged product.

We bought this to keep my 20 month old baby occupied while traveling. She loves it! super easy! Just put water in the pen and let them color. The pages dry fairly quickly, but not to the point of drying out when dyed. I want to warn you, if you don't pour the water out of the pen, make sure to keep it where the pen is facing up. I forgot it and put it face down in her pocket and it leaked. It dried out but it took a while and I was worried about damaging it.

My son got this as a gift from his older brother when I had my son. He is 2 years old and just loves these pads. We had to buy more because it would take a little longer than he wants to wait for drying! It is convenient to carry in the car and convenient to store. The good thing about the pen is that it has a deep barrel that can store enough water to use when coloring. I gifted them to our friends kids because we love these pillows so much. Colors pop too!

I picked out some new items for my 3 year old son for our flight. I choose a set of magnets, a Kindle and this activity mat. He was so enamored with this exercise pad that he didn't even bother with the other subjects (the kindling was just an emergency fallback in case he lost control of the plane - he didn't even know it was even possible).
