It looks really authentic. Appearance is nice, function works well. I like the quality very much. Overall, it looks like a solid toy that fits together well. I like its usefulness and the fact that my daughter enjoys playing with it.

The puzzle is very cute and colorful! We've only had this puzzle for a little over a month and the rainbow has already removed a few dents and chips from the paint. Not what I would expect from a puzzle at this price. At least not any time soon.

This is disappointing; Overall, Melissa & Doug products are great. It was a gift for a sick 2 year old and although she loved it every piece was chipped. I should have listened to other reviewers who had the same issues.

The item arrived with lots of paint already ruined and dents in the wood which is what I was expecting after spending some time with a toddler but its disappointing to pay for something , which is forfeited when you pay good change for it. My son loves playing with it, otherwise I would return it.

My almost 3 year old loves this puzzle but she likes the rainbow the most as it is much easier for her to put other shapes together. She just keeps drawing a rainbow and clapping because she's glad she can do everything on her own. This is a high quality jigsaw puzzle to match Melissa and Doug products.

This wooden rainbow set comes on a wooden board as you can see in the first picture. Super easy to assemble. Only nine pieces. If you wish, you can also present the rainbow separately on the table. It is made of thick lacquered wood. Weight 2# 8oz. The details are all smooth. Made in China.

It came with scratches and chips on the wood and scratches and missing paint on every part of the rainbow on the board it appears on. The broken off part of the red part is actually sharp so I had to sand it down so it wouldn't hurt him.
