Memorex Internal CDRW Drive

At the moment I'm quite happy with the Memorex CDRW drive. I had some issues with the supporting software (Nero) but I can probably fix this issue. Another problem is that the drive model is so new that some other software does not support it, for example Comcast Rhapsody is not compatible with this drive. However, I was able to fix this problem by "bypassing" it.

Would buy another one

I did not give this unit 5 stars just because we only have it a week. So far this product has not let us down! It's very fast and efficient. I hope this lasts just because my husband is going to a party! He says it's one of the best he's ever had!

Good value for money

When my previous CD writer/reader broke down I was looking for a decent branded product that should install easily in my old computer and it met my expectations fulfilled and the quality and speed is ok if you only need it for listening to music and/or burning cds.

Sounds great, easy to install

This CD-R/RW drive sounds better than the Samsung player that came with my HP Pavilion 793. Clearer, clearer. Installation was easy. He pulled out the old one, changed the jumpers on the new one to match the old one, plugged in the new one. Here it is. I didn't use the software that came with it, and I didn't install a new driver.
