Mercer Culinary M37153 Damascus 5 Inch Review

The knife is good and very sharp. but laser engraved. Although the product description says "67 layers of steel", I can clearly see that the creases/layers are printed and not the actual layers of steel.

I work in a large eat-in kitchen and received it today. It has retained its advantage over a 12 hour day and can do so much more without refining it. Now it doesn't look like real damascus anymore, more like stainless steel, but it's still beautiful to look at and as sharp as it gets, with a comfortable, slightly rounded spine, a rounded, tapered edge, and a comfortable half roll for the Handle.
