This is a really good razor. I used a similar model from a lesser known brand that was too aggressive. I don't mind shaving, but I hate awkward shaves. This is a very comfortable shaver. Of course, the blade matters a lot and it's a matter of personal preference. This gives a fairly close shave while remaining very comfortable. I chose the long handle (which isn't TOO long) because I have big hands and thought it would be easier to use. I have never used a regular handle DE razor, but in the future I will choose a long handle razor. So far this shaver is a pleasure to use.
