Not Fit - Men

I have had several Merrell Jungle imitations that fit well and are very supportive. It looks like the tag says the wrong size as it is very loose and wide. It looks like she's wearing oversized clown shoes. I tried wearing them to work for a few days to see if they would tear. After that, my legs hurt and I only wear them to push in the winter. I will no longer buy these Merrell versions. I also have another new pair of Jungle running shoes and they fit and support me. I can go to the Merrell…

Very comfortable, fits as expected.

I've had these shoes for about 2 weeks now and I can say that I'm very happy with how comfortable they are. I have a pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs that are the same size and they fit as expected. They felt a bit tight out of the box, but that may be because the shoe they replaced was about a year and a half old and stretched just fine. A big difference is the fabric part in the hole, they are harder to put on without this part rolling and pinching behind the heel than the all leather jungle…

Men's comfortable and stable

I have purchased several pairs of Merrell shoes for work and have always been impressed with the durability and comfort of these shoes. They fit true to size and require very little break-in time. My most recent purchase was the Jungle Moc and one of the first things I noticed was that the sole was narrow and my ankle had a tendency to roll over rough terrain at times. When it came time to buy another pair, I settled on the Moab Adventure Moc because of the wider sole. Also, I sometimes work in

Order one size up

This is my third pair. I bought the brown, black and gray last year because I really liked my first pair. They are snug so order one size larger than you normally wear. They are very comfortable and while not exactly "lightweight" they certainly feel lighter than most hiking boots. They're great for travel; how easy it is to put on and take off, especially when going through TSA at the airport. I've run countless miles in them and nothing like a sore or blister on my leg, no tightness or any…

Great upgrade over Jungle Moc

I bought these to replace an aging pair of Jungle Mocs and they are fantastic. I really like Jungle Mocs and have been wearing them for over ten years now. But after buying these shoes I don't think I will ever go back. First, as most people will tell you, the Jungle Moc's weak point is the outsole. They tend to wear out quickly. The sole of the Moab Adventure Moc is made from a Vibram sole and although I've only had this shoe for a few months, my decades of experience with Vibram-soled shoes…

With the Merrell name, they should be made better.

This is my FOURTH pair of Merrell Mocs. All three previous couples were Merrell Jungle Mocs. This is my first pair of Adventure Mocs. That being said, I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the new adventure. Sure, they have nice leather uppers, but structural support is lacking for shoes advertised as "slippers." When I first tried to put my feet in these shoes, the back of the shoes fell through. I was more surprised and upset. I kicked off my shoes and re-enforced…

Extremely unsafe - could be skates, not hiking shoes

Bought these for a 10 day trip that included light hiking (a few miles a day) and a lot of travel. First impression upon reception was that these are wonderful shoes. The fit is very comfortable and the shoes look great. Running a few miles on dry ground was fine. And I've been happy with the previous Merrell shoes I've had in the past. So this was the only pair of shoes I took with me on my trip. Bad reputation, as I soon found out. The pair I received have very slippery soles on wet and…

Good shoes. WARM. Not happy with the insoles

Edit: I received the shoes 2 days ago and wore them to see if the insoles and my feet match. After wearing them for a few hours, the outer perimeter of the shoe began to take over without adequate support in the middle. I could probably live with a little discomfort, but when I think about it, I don't think I should have any complaints for a shoe that costs that much. So I'm sending the shoes back. The rest of the review is still relevant. I was looking for shoes to replace my ancient Jungle…

[Update] Anything below the line I wrote earlier she actually wore 3 Walking around Japan for (very painful) days. In retrospect, they are only comfortable for everyday use. Their water resistance is a downside as they aren't breathable at all - even in wool blend socks my feet were always wet. And since they're loafers, they're constantly moving, leading to chafing and calluses. So now I only wear them in winter when I go shopping or need to go outside for a few minutes. .β€”β€”β€”-Here's why I did…
