The laces are really long.

Great shoes but the laces are very long! You need to tie them with a double knot. A little smaller than I thought too. But overall great shoes!

We will make durable, long-lasting shoes.

I love these shoes. It is very important to me that shoes are comfortable, durable and offer excellent support. Especially in my kid's shoes.

In terms of quality, however, the seam came loose after a month.

These shoes seemed great and well made, but the stitching on top came undone within a month. I had high hopes for the Merrel brand as they have to withstand more wear and tear.

1 month with problems

We only used them for 3 weeks and the laces snapped. Not worth the money. 2 stars because apart from the tip support they were a good shoe and seem to be well stitched.

My son is very picky about shoes, they have to fit perfectly! This is a nightmare 😫 I was so nervous that I bought him such expensive shoes. It turns out he loves her! It's waterproof and comfortable. Hooray! This is victory!

True to size, good quality

I bought these shoes for my son. They are true to size. I'm glad they are wide as my son has a wide foot. They are of good quality. Colors correspond to what is in the photo. I will order more if needed.

Good shoes for everyday use

This shoe is for an active 8 year old. They fit well, look good and have the build quality I've come to expect from Merrell. I insist on rubber soles for better traction. This is compliant. The laces are not very good, I will look for replacements.

Not waterproof, poor fit

I walked a mile in light rain and ended up with wet boots and feet. They are also small and narrow. The laces are damn long as others have said. Strongly disappointing. To return.

Not waterproof good for me

I bought them in October 2022. They fit my 9 year old very active son with ADHD. But on a recent walk, my feet got wet. 😖 I really want my money back, but I know that's not going to happen.

The best children's shoes! to my rating.

Merrell are the best children's shoes I've ever seen. These are smaller than I expected so keep that in mind and go half a size up so your kids don't constantly outgrow them. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT sneakers the best in my rating

Bought this Merrell for my son for a trip to Costa Rica. They held up well on the trail and in the rain. The sole is very durable and hasn't worn off yet, although my son wears these shoes every day now. 8 MONTHS LATER.

I was specifically looking for waterproof shoes! The kid put them on yesterday and while walking on the wet grass his feet got completely wet! Very frustrating!
