The quality has really gone down

I don't know why the Merrell shoes I bought last year seem to have really gone down. This last pair has a very uncomfortable insole, not soft and foamy like in the past. And the materials it's made of feel very cheap. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Expensive

Comfort and style in one

These are great shoes for winter walks. I wanted durable leather shoes that would keep my feet warm when walking my dog or walking myself. And since it's a lace-up shoe, it offers excellent support to the foot. I was very happy with the style. They are also very well made and should last a long time.

  • Quick change

Very comfortable and durable hiking shoes

They also look great and seem to be very durable. I have another pair of Merrells that I bought a long time ago, they have suffered a lot and I still refuse to throw them away so I did the next best thing I could do for them, bought another pair, similar, but with more power. Support. Very good shoes.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • unreliable

Pain Free Shoes - Hiking and Trekking

I LOVE these shoes, planning to buy another pair, they fit perfectly. I've always worn size 6 Merrill shoes, but now that I'm in my 70's I need an extra half size in the toe box and 6 1/2 is enough. I wore them in the garden 4-6 hours every day for a week and they never hurt. The only downside is that they don't hold their grip on wet roads๐Ÿฅด

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Weight

Love these shoes for outdoor activities

I wanted full leather hiking shoes because it's winter. I impregnated them twice. I wear 9 in Merrell Encore Nova so I ordered 9 in these and they fit. I like that they are light and not heavy on the foot. However, they don't have much cushioning in the insole. I have walked our woods 3 times and found them pleasant to walk in. I'm happy with them.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic

Merrell shoes are good quality for the price.

I wear these shoes almost every day. I work outdoors and need a sturdy shoe with good support, which is hard to find in women's shoes. I've been wearing it for 3 months now and it's holding up well. I am happy with my purchase and intend to replace them with the same shoes in due course. a good year in use and hopefully the new ones will do the same.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Lighter but doesn't feel strong

My feet are terrible so I have both Merrells and Clarks. Merrells excel at hard walking, but lack charm. Clarks are great for walking around town but are not as durable. I wish I had the consistency of the Merrells and the style of the Clarks. I was hoping that these shoes would be suitable for a trip to Japan. Even after ordering a size 10.5 for thick socks, my toe touched the bottom of the boot. Since my foot is shaky, it didn't offer typical Merrells support. I had to go back. That's a goodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Simple hikers are best in shoes

My feet have changed and I need a new hiking boot with good support and stability. I almost returned them because the sole is really stiff compared to other sirens I've had and they made my feet tired the first time I put them on (within 5 minutes). Also, it's not the prettiest hiking shoe Merrell makes. I left them because I needed backpacking at the last minute and added some heel inserts and hoped for the best. They turn out to be really stable on gravel and I can safely descend hillsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

The BEST travel shoes!

Bought these on a whim for our week long trip to France as I wanted something shorter than my Merrell Moab 2 mid waterproof boots (which were PERFECT for Ireland!) and I'm so glad I did Me got it I bought them a few days before we left and they never needed breaking in. We walked 7-12 miles around town every day and my feet have NEVER hurt (just feet ha!), no blisters, chafing or anything. I broke my ankle almost 10 years ago and had surgery and I'm having a hard time finding the perfect shoeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
