Metal Can Crusher Recycling Compactor Review

I am giving this one star because I ordered 2 packs but only received 1. I tried to contact them to send me the 2nd one but I get no reply. The one I received works great, I just wish I had a full order.

We were looking for one and couldn't find it. then I thought of Revain and wahla! How much more than the old plastic. this has to go on. Finally found a suitable place to mount it outside and now crushes cans in no time!

This is a sturdy little can crusher. It was fairly straightforward and easy to install using the hardware that came with it. I mounted it on a stand at the base of the wall so my 4 year old could help chop up the cans. He is obsessed and can easily load, shred and unload everything himself. It has withstood well the odd angular pressure it can sometimes put on him.

This is a normal quality wall mounted can crusher. We used to have an old can grinder in the basement of our old brick home in West Virginia and I haven't had one since, so I was glad to get one. This one doesn't work that well, but seems reliable. Installation is a bit tricky, you have to make sure all three screws go into a stud or some very secure place. It's a little fiddly to use, but maybe I just need to get used to it again.

We just sold our house and I left our crusher with the house. I used to have The Crusher, an aluminum can compactor made by Pacific Precision Metals. I didn't want to patch holes in the wall, so I left that business to the buyers. I like this grinder more than the previous one. Gliding is much smoother and feels more durable. Conceptually this device is very easy to use but practically and ergonomically not very good. It comes with 4 mounting screws 1" and 1/8" and without assembly instructions. The maximum opening of the device decreases from 7 inches to 1.3/8 inches when fully compressed. I was hoping it would be easier to use "floating" (no lashing) but it takes good grip strength to pull back with one hand and lots of pull on the lever to start it (once the can loses traction , will be easier).
