Disappointing Antenna Adapter for Subaru

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice with automotive accessories, I have to say this adapter is a clear disappointment. Although it fits well, the reception is weak and unreliable. The adapter is also quite flimsy and feels cheap.

Pros
  • It fits well
Cons
  • Weak reception, flimsy construction

Metra Antenna Adapter

Wish Subaru would use a "regular" antenna connector. Bought to extend a very short Subaru antenna cable when I was adding a new radio. That helped.

Pros
  • Secure Fit
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Metra Cable for Subaru 2005 Outback Radio

Pros
  • Designed for the user and installer
Cons
  • Safety
