This is a good digital meat thermometer. We grill every day, so we use a lot of meat thermometers, which usually die when they get wet. Thankfully, this one has waterproof reading capability, so it doesn't die completely if it gets wet - not like I put it in the sink or anything. However, it's magnetic so it sticks to the grill - so handy to have on hand. It is also easy to read in the sun. I believe it is accurate and it works fast. Very good digital meat thermometer.

This type of instant read thermometer is the best I have ever used. It really is an 'instant read', while some claim it isn't. It also has the added (and quite useful) bonus that you can adjust it for the meat you're testing, so you don't have to keep up with different cooking rates (I don't remember all of that, lol).
