Good first impression

I was just trying them out when there was some ice on the floor. They fit easily in my size 12 boots and I was able to hit the ice with confidence.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Old model

Works Great on Ice - Climbing

These boots are easy to slip on and off and work great on ice. A tote bag is handy because I take it with me and always have it handy in case I get to an icy spot and need to put it on. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons

Good product! Outdoor

Great! In them you can go straight to the slope, which is completely covered with ice. These are fairly strong cleats and rocks can get stuck between the cleats, but they are easy to slip on and off and provide strong traction with any shoe. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Nothing

Must have for ice fishing!

Just right for ice fishing! Finally a pair of boots that really stay on my boots. I've used other brands in the past and that's all I was looking for. Good quality and good aggressive pimples. It even comes with a storage bag.

Pros
  • Delivered very quickly
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

Ideal for keeping you from slipping on icy days.

We haven't had a pair of these but we're in New England and it looks like we should. I had the opportunity to use them recently and I loved it. I am a women's size 8, my husband is a men's size 10 and we were able to use them both. Easy to put on to get through a frozen ice covered gravel driveway (then take off when we get to the other side). They go with boots, sneakers and even our Crocs! The spikes are solid, not welded, so I think they should last a while. We will get more couples when we…

Much easier to put on than my previous pair!

I bought these to replace a pair of Yaktrax. The biggest problem with Yaktrax is that it takes so much stretching and effort to put them on; There's no way I can do that on a hike. They are much easier to put on and are ideal for not slipping on ice. I can put them on while out on the trail (wonder) Only downside is they are more wearable if you don't wear them all the time. They don't fit well in my jacket pocket, I end up carrying a small backpack with me when I think I can carry them…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Very expensive

Poor quality control

I ordered these for a winter hike here in New England. Upon arrival, I tested them for a few miles on fairly quiet trails close to home. I ran about two miles in it and all went well. The following weekend I headed north into the mountains for a more challenging hike. Almost immediately I felt my boots slam against the soles of my feet and knew that was the problem. I removed both crampons and found the chains had come out of two spikes and were just dangling under my boots as I walked. Some…
